Makati City, Philippines — On 18 March 2026, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines formalized its partnership with RepsMate Software SRL through a signing ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Romania to the Philippines at the residence of the Ambassador of Romania in Makati, City.

The signing ceremony marked a milestone in strengthening the collaboration between ECCP and RepsMate, a leading European AI solutions provider with a vision to empower customer care agents with AI instead of replacing them.

With over 2,000,000 people employed in the BPO sector, the Philippines stands at a critical inflection point in which AI stands not as a threat but a catalyst that can elevate people’s performance to new levels of efficiency and global competitiveness.

During the ceremony, Romanian Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Răduţa Dana Matache expressed her support to RepsMate, emphasizing the importance of its platform to the Philippines at the current time.

“I want to congratulate RepsMate for the vision and intelligence to choose the Philippines over any other Southeast Asian nation, and I want to wish them every success… I understand that what you are bringing here is exactly what the Philippines needs at this time,” stated H.E. Matache.

The event was also graced with the presence of H.E. Massimo Santoro, Ambassador of the European Union to the Philippines, who shared how artificial intelligence is not only part of the Philippines agenda for its ASEAN chairship this year, but is likewise a priority of the EU Delegation.

H.E. Santoro then commended RepsMate for its choice of country and for choosing the ECCP as its partner in expanding its reach in the Philippines. “You are counting on amazing people… It’s only one year and a half that I’m here, but the value of ECCP is very visible and very measurable already,” said H.E. Santoro.

The signing ceremony also featured messages from ECCP Treasurer and Director Mr. Albert Perez, and RepsMate Founder and CEO Mr. Alin Rosca.

“We still believe in the same vision, in augmenting people, not replacing them… We believe in the Philippines being the global hub of the BPO industry [where] we can bring a lot of value, augment people, and save, hopefully, the industry,” said Rosca.

In his short speech Mr. Rosca committed to help BPO companies to stay competitive and to improve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) without reducing its workforce. Meanwhile, the ECCP expressed enthusiasm in this new partnership, highlighting how this can strengthen Romania’s presence in the Philippines while creating tangible value for both European companies and the Philippine business community.

The momentous signing ceremony was joined by ECCP leaders including Ms. Gen Anaquita-Gatan, Director of Operations, and Atty. Kathyrn Pioquinto, Director for Advocacy & Government Affairs.

Also in attendance were the Embassy of Romania to the Philippines’ Admin Manager Gabriel Oanta and Trade and Development Officer Gerald Nuñez, alongside RepsMate’s International Partner Manager Andrei Viorică and Mr. Alfred Reiterer, who served as advisor to the CEO of RepsMate on entering the Asian market.

Through this partnership, the ECCP and RepsMate affirms its shared commitments to innovation, digital transformation, and business development while following the principles of good corporate governance. Together with the market entry in the Philippines, RepsMate also committed to implement its Corporate Social Responsibility program in the Philippines in the second quarter of 2026.
